The purpose of ESSA is to be a self regulatory organisation with its own code of practice, which all members will adhere to and which will have little bureaucracy but would set up an early warning system highlighting "Irregular Betting Patterns", which would then be presented to the sports regulators as a fast and presentable solution to prevent any further manipulation scandals and to contribute to sports being clean and free of corruption.
