Ongame Network adds to prize money

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – (PRESS RELEASE) -- In the wake of signing deals with several new operators, and after a significant re-structuring of its entire poker tournament offering, Ongame Network announces a significant boost in poker tournament prize pool guarantees.

Throughout March, more than $ 400,000 in weekly guaranteed prize money will be added to the $ 1,000,000 total already guaranteed on a weekly basis.

"We will raise the guaranteed prize pool in all of our biggest regular tournaments, but will also add multiple new daily guarantee events. This is in line with our strategy of supplying our operators with the broadest selection of daily guarantee tournaments during European, Pacific and Canadian prime time, leaving them to focus on hosting special events," says Martin Lerby, Head of Ongame Network.

Some of the new guarantee tournaments have already been introduced while others will premiere shortly. The most celebrated regular poker tournament on the Ongame Network, the monthly Grand Tournament, will also feature a new guarantee of $ 150,000 for its eleventh outing during the last weekend of March. A figure expected to grow in the months to come as players take full advantage of a new flexible tournament ticket system introduced in January.
