PPA litigation expert to testify at Senate hearing

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Poker Players Alliance (PPA) Litigation Support Director, Patrick Fleming will testify Thursday before the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs at a hearing entitled, “OVERSIGHT HEARING on the U.S. Department of Justice Opinion on Internet Gaming: What's at Stake for Tribes”

A seasoned attorney and legal strategist, Patrick works to advance the argument that poker is a game where skill is the predominant factor and to ensure vague laws restricting online poker are clarified.

Patrick will offer the committee his insight on the DOJ’s recent opinion on the Federal Wire Act and the impact this could have for tribes, as well as the future of online poker. Patrick is available for pre-interviews, as well as interviews following the hearing Thursday afternoon.

The hearing will take place on Thursday, February 9, at 2:15 p.m.
