Speculation Harrah's may make a play for 888

LONDON, England -- The Evening Standard newspaper is reporting speculation among city traders that Harrah's may make a bid for 888 Holdings.

888 Holdings are a Gibraltar-based online poker company.

Betfair, its nearest rival, is also in the midst of planning to float on the stock exchange, The Evening Standard report said.
