Victor Chandler launches alternative poker room

DUBLIN, Ireland -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Victor Chandler today announces the launch of a new website BetVictor to cater to poker players for countries recently excluded from the Entraction network – the first online poker operator to do so.

Poker players from Israel, Canada, Norway and Russia - who were subject to an IP block on Tuesday November 1 - can now play online poker again with Victor Chandler Poker via the Bet Victor site and the Microgaming network.

The decision to exclude players from the these countries by the Swedish-based Entraction Network is as a result of the company’s purchase by U.S. gaming giant IGT in June.

News of the exclusion was announced at the beginning of September giving Victor Chandler less than two months to provide an alternative solution for it’s existing players from the affected countries.
