Full Tilt becomes first online poker site to join Steam

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The first major online poker brand on Steam, Valve's digital gaming platform, will be Full Tilt, an Amaya Inc. brand.

After spending just over a month in Steam's Greenlight process, the Full Tilt play-money game secured thousands of votes from the Steam community who had their say in selecting the game to be made available on the wildly popular platform. Full Tilt aims to have its poker software live on Steam before the end of 2015.

"The opportunity to introduce our game to the millions of players who make up the Steam gaming community is really important to us," said Full Tilt Managing Director Dominic Mansour. "We will be the first major online poker brand on the platform and the move underlines our strategic intentions to explore new avenues for our games. This is just one of a number of steps that we’re taking to find new audiences and we are excited about the opportunities that we’ll uncover as a result."

The Full Tilt software received strong support from both the Steam community and poker fans alike while in the Greenlight process.
