26 sports betting licenses issued by The Virginia Lottery

After legalizing sports betting in July 2020, Virginia has taken another big step in the sports wagering world. The Virginia Lottery announced that it has approved 26 sports betting licenses. The licenses were issued to a number of affiliates, payment providers and data suppliers after they submitted applications back in December. According to projections from VirginiaCasinos.com, Virginia's legal sportsbooks could earn as much as $412 million annually.
