888 launches under a local licence in Ontario, Canada

Having previously operated in the province prior to local regulation, today’s launch under a local license will enable 888 to leverage its existing brand awareness in combination with its proven capabilities in data-driven marketing to grow market share.

In line with 888’s growth strategy, the regulated Ontario market represents the latest ‘Growth Market’ launch for 888, having launched in the German sports betting market in 2021. 888’s Growth Markets collectively represented 21% of Group revenue in 2021, and are an important element of the Group’s long term expansion plans.
