A Bet A, Kiron Interactive to unveil Punter's Jackpot

(PRESS RELEASE) -- A Bet A has teamed up with Kiron Interactive to launch the first ever progressive jackpot pool wager for virtual racing.

The new Superfecta, called the Punter’s Jackpot, will be available in licensed betting offices every 15 minutes throughout the trading day, providing customers with the chance to win a prize expected to reach around £15,000.

Those placing a £1 bet on the first four horses home in 14-runner races on Kiron’s Dashing Derby virtual racing will scoop or share the winnings, with jackpots rolling over if they are not claimed.

A Bet A Operations Manager Jason Hardman, who will be showcasing the product at this week’s TVC Bookmakers Trade Fair at Cranmore Park, said it would have multiple benefits for the independent sector.

He added: “The Punter’s Jackpot will add risk-free revenues to the bottom lines of operators and help with both retention rates and dwell-times in their shops.

“It will also generate excitement on the premises, add atmosphere, and encourage collateral spend from customers invigorated by the heightened expectation generated.”

Those who miss out on the jackpot but still predict the first three right will have a free bet on the next pool game, with each new jackpot set to start at a minimum of £1,000.

A Bet A are to work with a licensed remote pool operator to deliver the product into LBOs and expect it to go live at the beginning of December 2015.

It will be available to all operators utilising A Bet A’s bet management system in the first instance, with each expected to earn generous commission on every £1 bet struck.

Hardman added: “Everybody talks about innovation being required in the industry, but we’re the ones actually delivering it. We are out to capture the punters’ imagination and bring them back into our customers’ shops.”
