Alderney gambling regulator cleared over Full Tilt handling

ALDERNEY -- The Alderney gambling regulator has been cleared of mishandling the Full Tilt Poker shut down, the BBC reported.

The regulator was described in the report as having acted "promptly and proportionately", the report said.

The report into the Full Tilt affair also said the regulator's handling of the situation was "an example of regulation working as it should", the BBC News report quoted.
