BtoBet plans roadshow during Sports Betting West Africa Summit

The Nigerian market for mobile users is constantly growing, and with that comes a host of mobile payments, with 81% of the population using USD, credit cards and sometimes Bitcoin as the preferred payment methods.

Additionally, 67 million people — 45% of Nigerian mobile users — have a strong interest in shopping online and using mobile apps. These are clear signs that operators must consider when planning their business ventures.

During the upcoming Sports Betting West Africa event in Lagos, regulators, operators and tech suppliers from the gambling industry will discuss current trends and the direction of the industry's future. BtoBet's chairman, Alessandro Fried, will attend the summit at the Federal Palace Hotel & Casino, taking part in a panel entitled "Making the most of growing opportunities in Africa." The panel takes place on 18 July at noon.
