Cascading clusters don the reels in Yggdrasil sequel MexoMax 2

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Yggdrasil has unleashed MexoMax 2 WildEnergy MultiMax, a thrilling sequel to one of its most iconic titles, evolving the fan-favorite original with numerous new features and huge multipliers.

Continuing the exotic Aztec theme from the prequel, players must land clusters of 5+ matching symbols to form a win. During every spin, the MultiMax GEM removes all winning icons, with further ones dropping down from the top of the reels, and a wild added to one of the empty positions. Every time a new wild drops during an avalanche, the multiplier for that reel will increase by 1x.

The popular WildEnergy GEM can see certain wilds land with lives, ensuring that they remain active on the reels for a number of wins prior to being destroyed. In addition, they can boost the multiplier by up to 50x for huge wins.

In base play, three random features can be triggered, which either create winning combinations, complete lines of matching symbols, or add giant symbols, all of which guarantee a win.

Three or more scatters are required to launch the free spins, and for the duration of the bonus, reel multiplier values do not reset whenever a wild lands.

Players can also trigger one of four jackpots, with all high-paying symbols potentially triggering the corresponding prize, ranging from 15x to 1,000x.
