Newton, MASSACHUSETTS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -– Casino City Press has announced the release of the 2007 edition of the Nevada Gaming Almanac, the industry's best single source for Nevada gaming market data and contact information. In addition to summary pages with current FY 2006 profit-and-loss results, the new edition provides five-year revenue statistics for each jurisdiction along with essential ratios including slots per room, slots per game, and games per square foot.

The Almanac reports that in 2006 the Nevada gaming industry saw double-digit revenue growth of 13.07 percent across all departments. Casino, beverage, food, and hotel-room revenues grew by 10.95, 12.71, 13.37, and 14.35 percent, respectively. In the games area, 25-dollar slots saw the most unit growth in 2006, with 53.75 percent. Penny slots (39.91 percent) and poker (39.05 percent) were a distant second and third.

The new Almanac also gives counts and distribution of gaming properties, devices, and tables along with detailed profiles of Nevada properties, owners, industry suppliers, and regulatory agencies. In addition, names and titles are provided for more than 5,000 Nevada gaming executives across 40 departments.
