1. SlotsMillion makes U.K. debut

SlotsMillion has brought its innovative virtual reality casino to the U.K. More than 700 slot games can be accessed via the 3-D playground, which takes the form of a swanky lounge on the top of a skyscraper.

Those without any VR tech can still enjoy the 3-D portion of the casino on a desktop.

2. Paddy McGuinness the new face of Jackpotjoy

The world's largest online bingo operator has announced a new ambassador: Paddy McGuinness, who will take over for "Queen of Bingo" Barbara Windsor.

The entertainer will feature in the bingo site's advertising campaign online and on TV.

3. AGA announces Gaming Hall of Fame 2017 inductees

Four new leaders in the gaming industry have been welcomed to the Gaming Hall of Fame, including Diana Bennett, a casino management luminary; John Breeding, mind behind the electronic card shuffler; Joe Kaminkow, a slot game designer who set a standard for licensing branded games; and Melvin B. Wolzinger, Nevada businessman and community leader in Las Vegas.

4. Playtech completes largest ever live casino customer migration

Playtech's live casino branch has moved shop to an 8,500-square-foot site in Riga, Latvia. This next-generation studio is the world's largest, hosting state-of-the-art cameras, custom-made tables and gaming areas, an advanced monitoring system and a center for training live staff.

5. Kindred Group supports Gambling Therapy app

Gambling Therapy is an app designed to assist players in managing their gambling habits, providing therapeutic exercises, information on problem gambling and support for those who are struggling.

As part of Kindred's commitment to creating a safe gambling environment, the company has funded the development of the app, which will initially be released in Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish and Danish.
