FanDuel has entered the multi-state poker chat after receiving approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board. Before we dive into those details, we have a few other stories that deserve some attention. 5. Thunder Valley Casino pays out $679,496 win

4. Super Bowl returning to Las Vegas in 2029
Earlier this week, the National Football League announced that Las Vegas will host Super Bowl LXIII in 2029 at Allegiant Stadium. The announcement was made at the NFL Annual Meeting in Phoenix, following a review by the NFL’s Fan Engagement & Major Events Committee and a vote by full ownership.

Super Bowl LXIII will mark the second time the Super Bowl will be held in Las Vegas. The city debuted as a first-time Super Bowl host in 2024, welcoming more than 330,000 visitors and generating an economic impact of more than $1 billion.

3. BETBY enters prediction markets space
On Wednesday, BETBY announced the launch of Betby Predictions. The product is now live, with rollout across BETBY’s global partner network set to follow in the coming days.

With Betby Predictions, players can place bets on a range of non-sports events, including cryptocurrency, finance, technology, and entertainment, all within a familiar sportsbook interface. Additionally, all markets are subject to human oversight, with AI used to identify trends rather than publish content autonomously.

BETBY’s move lands at a time when U.S. prediction markets are getting pulled into court and picked apart by regulators, even as big-name operators such as DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics keep jumping in and blurring the line between betting and finance.

2. MGM Resorts launches Las Vegas all-inclusive experience
MGM Resorts International has rolled out an all-inclusive package on the Las Vegas Strip that bundles hotel stay, resort fees, dining, entertainment, and parking into one upfront price.

The offer starts at $330 for a two-night stay for two guests and is available at Luxor Hotel and Casino and Excalibur Hotel and Casino. Reservations are already bookable for stays beginning on 6 April.

The experience includes:

- A two-night stay at Luxor or Excalibur with double occupancy, including all resort fees.

- Three meals per day per guest, covering breakfast, lunch and dinner, redeemable at a selection of MGM Resorts restaurants across Luxor, Excalibur, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay and New York-New York, featuring dedicated menus with a wide variety of options and beverages included.

- Two tickets to one MGM Resorts show per stay.

- Two rides on The Big Apple Coaster at New York-New York.

- Self-parking for one vehicle at any MGM Resorts Las Vegas property.

1. Michigan greenlights FanDuel for multi-state poker
On Wednesday, the Michigan Gaming Control Board announced FanDuel was approved to offer multi-state internet poker between Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

FanDuel’s new poker platform will utilize the PokerStars brand in Michigan, and MotorCity Casino will serve as the Michigan operator partner for the poker product. Michigan joined the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA) in 2022. Currently, Delaware, Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia are member states of that agreement.

West Virginia was the last state to join the agreement, when it did so back in November 2023.
