FSB Technology launches Black Type

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Platform provider FSB Technology (U.K.) Ltd has helped launch Black Type, a new online sports betting site with a specialist focus on horse racing.

The site is the creation of founders Dave Gowers and Craig Nicholson, who oversaw the resurgence of 888sport's racing products while working at Kambi, in conjunction with Mylo Sangster, the grandson of famous owner breeder Robert Sangster.

It will feature a unique hybrid trading solution, allowing certain sports markets to be controlled by their own team of traders and others to be run by FSB's London-based staff.

Nicholson said: "Having witnessed the evolution of the industry over the past twenty years, the U.K. market in particular has lacked a quality horse racing-focused sportsbook for a considerable time, and there is very little competition for the established, bigger operators.

"We wanted to draw on our knowledge and racing heritage to put that right, but most importantly we wanted to offer a very competitively-priced service while also being seen to lay a fair bet. We're called Black Type for a reason."
