Greentube raises the spirits with Piggy Prizes: Ghost of Gambini

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Greentube, the NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, has launched Piggy Prizes: Ghost of Gambini, a haunted mansion packed with magic, pigs and pots of prizes, in this latest addition to its hugely successful game family.

Ghost of Gambini keeps the series' signature locked prizes, with coin and pot symbols chained and padlocked on the reels. These unlock and award when they land alongside a Gambini or Ghost symbol on the center reel, with both characters also acting as Wild symbols.

The Ghost of Gambini symbol brings extra rewards to every spin, adding new coins and jackpots to the reels and boosting any existing coin it lands on to a higher value. Magic Spin can randomly stop the center reel first with a Gambini symbol in view, while Magic Rewind can move the center reel back to land a Gambini symbol, and rewind non-winning reels onto locked jackpot symbols.

Each time a Gambini symbol lands in the center, it throws a coin into one or both piggy pots. When a pot reaches its maximum size and pops, the Lock & Spin feature begins with three spins, rising to four if both pigs pop together. White Ghosts place Bronze frames and upgrade them to Silver and Gold, while Gold Ghosts place Gold frames directly. All frames convert to cash prizes or jackpots when the feature ends.

When the Ghost of Gambini pops a pot, players enter Super Lock & Spin. Only Gold Ghosts can land during this feature, and every Gold frame awards a jackpot.

Piggy Prizes: Ghost of Gambini adds a Halloween-themed title to one of Greentube's strongest-performing game families, combining the familiar Piggy Prizes formula with a second Gambini character that builds momentum from the base game through to the bonus.

Richard Ganster, Director of Games Strategy and Games Portfolio Management at Greentube, said: “Piggy Prizes has a loyal following, and Ghost of Gambini gives those players a reason to watch the center reel on every spin. The second Gambini symbol adds coins, boosts values and feeds the pigs, so the base game builds towards the bonus.

“Super Lock & Spin then turns every frame into a jackpot, which gives the feature a clear top prize to chase. The Halloween setting makes it a strong title for operators heading into Q4.”
