GVC increases bid on rival Bwin.party

LONDON, England -- GVC Holdings has come up with an increased bid on Bwin.party Digital Entertainment, Reuters reported.

The new 1 billion-pound offer attempts to usurp 888's recent off, the report said.

888 offered close to 900 million pounds and have not indicated whether they intend to up the stakes, Reuters said.
