iGaming Business partners with Global Gaming Expo

26 April 2011

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- iGaming Business, one of the oldest and most well established media companies in the online gambling world and organisers of the iGaming Super Show, has announced a partnership agreement with Global Gaming Expo (G2E), the premier trade show and conference event for the international gaming entertainment industry, and home of the iGaming Congress at G2E. With this cross-promotional opportunity, these two giants of the gaming world hope to be able to reach distinctive audiences both from the world of online and offline gaming in order to increase reach and relevance for their audience.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with G2E” Alex Pratt, head of iGaming Business, stated. “G2E is the largest gambling conference worldwide and we look forward to working together to educate and increase awareness of the gambling industry as a whole in a productive and positive way.”

In 2010, 24,941 people attended the flagship G2E event in Las Vegas, providing gaming professionals with access to cutting-edge products and technology, valuable networking opportunities and unmatched educational programming. Organized by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions, G2E made its debut in fall 2001, committed to the idea of creating an event “by the industry, for the industry”. To date, more than 300 companies have registered for over 226,000 square feet (20,000 square meters) of exhibit hall space at G2E 2011.

“Internet gambling continues to draw significant interest and debate, within both the U.S. and global gaming industries,” said Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., president and CEO of the AGA. “This partnership between iGaming Business and G2E will provide both Internet and land-based casino operators with the information and insights to gain a better understanding of how this sector will shape the future of our industry.”

The partnership will be of equal benefit to the iGaming Super Show, where the keynote speaker will be Frank J. Fahrenkopf, president and CEO of the AGA, a leader in his field and a well established figure in the American gaming industry.

The Super Show will be held on the 25-26 of May in Dublin and is free to attend. Numbers are expected to reach over 2,500 gaming executives, making this event the largest iGaming show in the world, with over 70 percent of exhibitors already confirmed. With a clear focus on the business-to-business and affiliate iGaming sector, the event will aim to unite the whole online gambling industry under one roof. Further details on conference speakers and features on the event can be found here: www.igamingsupershow.com/.

G2E and iGaming Business will continue to partner on future events and educational conferences that will bring together both land-based and iGaming professionals.
