IGT makes the most millionaires of any gaming manufacturer; Gives away nearly 6 billion in jackpot winnings since 1986

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- International Game Technology (IGT) has published a compelling infographic looking at the history of MegaJackpots millionaires including total money won, 'winningest states' and luckiest months. With nearly $6 billion won since 1986, the infographic names the following the "Top 5 Winningest States," ranked by total MegaJackpot dollar amount won, including:

Nevada: $2.3 billion
New Jersey: $884 million
Mississippi: $513 million
California: $429 million
Louisiana: $307 million

The graphic also identifies the luckiest months for winnings, with May ($548 million), March ($509 million) and November ($493 million) making up the top three.
