Mediatech integrates SOFORT payment service

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Omni-channel gaming platform provider Mediatech Solutions has agreed a deal to integrate payment provider SOFORT GmbH to its pioneering omni-channel platform, IRIS.

The agreement will see SOFORT's innovative payment service available to Mediatech customers for the first time, significantly strengthening its offer to European clients.

As part of the deal, the strategic partnership will aid mutual growth across SEPA Europe. SOFORT's online and direct payment service is used by around 35,000 ecommerce merchants, serving end users in 13 European countries. It allows for seamless, swift and secure direct bank payments and will further bolster the range of payment services offered on the IRIS platform.

The deal will present SOFORT with opportunities for expansion in Spain, where Mediatech holds a market-leading position.

The news comes ahead of EiG, where Mediatech will be exhibiting alongside parent company R Franco Group on stand #207 between 18-20 October.

It has been a busy year for Mediatech, which was shortlisted at the prestigious EGR B2B Awards for best Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year. Last month the firm announced agreed a deal with Global Gaming Network, opening its services to the fast-emerging Cambodian market.
