Nektan accepts first mobile bet in California

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Nektan PLC, a leading international B2B gaming solutions and services provider, has taken its first real-money wager in the U.S. following the launch of its Evolve in-venue mobile games solution with a tribal casino in California.

Through Nektan's U.S. subsidiary Respin Games LLC, the California casino has gone live with Rapid Games, the certified Class II (Protected Tribal Gaming Category) proprietary in-resort Bring Your Own Device mobile platform.

The solution gives customers the chance to play casino games on their mobile devices while on the premises.

Nektan expects to roll out the platform across a further three casinos in Northern California over the quarter.
