Paysafe unveils strategic partnership with Spreedly

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Paysafe, a leading payments platform, announced a strategic partnership with Spreedly, a leading global open payments platform. Under the partnership, Spreedly’s global payments orchestration platform has integrated Paysafe as an acquirer to process credit card and debit card payments for online merchants targeting Europe, North America and other global markets.

Spreedly’s Open Payment Platform, which boasts connectivity to 140+ different payment gateways plus 40+ unique payment methods, now includes the Paysafe Gateway, which will seamlessly process online card payments for merchants and their customers, with all transactions completed in seconds. Spreedly will benefit from Paysafe’s 30-year experience supporting forex and financial trading brokers with online payments as well as the company’s deep expertise serving other industries, including iGaming, eCommerce, financial services, travel and hospitality.

The partnership is already live, with Paysafe processing card payments for multiple online trading brokers and financial services companies via Spreedly’s Open Payment Platform. Additional merchants are close to being onboarded under the deal, with these and several more expected to launch before end-2026.

While the first phase of the Spreedly partnership focuses primarily on Paysafe’s role as an acquirer for card payments, merchants will also be able to integrate the company’s suite of alternative payment methods. These include Paysafe’s flagship digital wallets Skrill and Neteller as well as PaysafeCard, a pre-paid payment method for consumers who prefer transacting online with cash.
