Pechanga winner takes home $700K jackpot

Her night-time trip to the Temecula resort on Tuesday, 7 February ended up showering her in riches after she landed on a bonus game. During that round, an electronic wheel spun around and landed on the wide area progressive jackpot grand prize. She told casino staff she had only been playing for about 15 minutes when the jackpot hit. A message bearing the words "Congratulations. You Have Won $774,102.85" underneath an image of a giant grey raven immediately flashed across the screen.

The winner wished to remain unidentified. The previous major jackpot at Pechanga Resort & Casino happened on Thursday, 22 September 2016 and totaled $1,045,643.
