Penn National close to finalizing Pimlico-Laurel stake sale

Penn National Gaming Inc. is selling back its 49-percent stake in Pimlico Racecourse and Laurel Park in Maryland, according to Daily Racing Form.

Penn National Gaming is close to finalizing the sale which will likely be bought by MI Developments or Frank Stronach, a company spokesperson said in the report.

The original investment was described as a "sour one" for Penn National Gaming in the Daily Racing Form report.
