Pinnacle broadens global reach with Ontario license

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Pinnacle announced today that its Internet Gaming Operator registration for Ontario has been approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

Registration in Ontario will allow the operator to provide customers with its sports betting and esports content, with bettors serviced by its low margins to level the betting playing field and deliver more value on each bet.

Pinnacle’s almost 25 years of international operational experience helped shape its unique customer-first product, which will prove a key differentiator with bettors in the province looking for a superior, licensed betting experience.

Bettors in Ontario can expect the best value betting opportunities across all major sports, with Pinnacle specifically primed for North American content, including NFL and CFL, tennis, baseball, basketball and soccer, while its esports offering will also be available.

With licenses already held in Malta, Sweden and Italy, the AGCO approval represents the operator’s latest step in achieving global growth in new and emerging markets, and with an already well-established brand name, this latest entry to Ontario’s regulated gaming market is set to benefit customers, betting competition in the province, and Pinnacle’s long-term growth plans.
