Playtech Launches Bingo Broadway

NICOSIA, Cyprus –- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Playtech (LSE: PTEC), the AIM listed international designer, developer and licensor of software for the gambling industry, today announces the successful launch of an online bingo operation, Bingo Broadway, further enhancing the company's already successful bingo portfolio.

Today's announcement brings the total number of new casino, poker and Bingo site openings operating under Playtech software since the start of the Year to 16.

Additionally, it clearly illustrates Playtech's geographical diversification strategy - which is also evident in the recent launches of new licensees Hard Rock Casino, Odaiba Casino in Asia, XXL Club Casino in Eastern Europe and Vegas21Club in North America. Furthermore, Playtech is expecting the launch of further play sites in the coming months.

The company is pleased to report strong trading in April and May 2006 continuing its extremely successful start to the year and expects to maintain this momentum.

Under the contract with Bingo Broadway, Playtech provided the entire software suite that enabled Bingo Broadway's operators, Paranos NV., to launch its new offering. By joining Playtech's bingo platform, Paranos NV will benefit from being included on Playtech's proprietary Bingoland.com network, which supports fully customized games, complete with multiple rooms, a choice of game types, scratch cards and embedded progressive prizes. Bingo Broadway will be able to take immediate advantage of Bingoland's substantial resources in terms of players, prize money and centrally prepared marketing collateral.
