Realistic Games names Andy Harris CEO

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Andy Harris has been promoted to the position of chief executive officer at British slots and table games provider Realistic Games.

Harris joined Realistic as commercial director in 2012 and has been integral to the significant growth the company has experienced ever since.

He recently undertook a strategic review at the Berkshire-based business. On the back of this, a detailed business plan has been created which he and his team will now begin to implement.

"I am very excited about moving into the new role of CEO at Realistic," Harris said. "We have a fantastic business and an exceptional team, and are very proud of our ability to deliver great content to a wide range of excellent operating partners.

"However, we have a significant appetite to improve the company in many ways, and have set ourselves some ambitious future goals and targets. We hope to achieve these by intelligently delivering the new business plan."

Harris has over two decades' worth of experience working in senior operational roles in the retail and online betting and gaming industry.

Following the completion of a graduate training programme with the Rank Group, he moved into general management at Grosvenor Casinos, before rising to become Head of Business Development at Rank Interactive.

He then moved to BetVictor to oversee their Casino and Games operation, and subsequently became Director of Gaming at Ladbrokes.

Realistic's games are now a staple of some of the world's leading operators and content aggregators, including bet365, BetVictor, Ladbrokes, Gala Coral, Stan James, Rank, Boylesports, NYX, PaddyPowerBetfair, William Hill, Bede, Daub, and Gaming Realms.
