Yggdrasil debuts 3 Gladiators vs Caesar

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Yggdrasil’s newest epic slot presents the drama and theater of ancient Rome’s big stage in a clash of the ages - fearsome fighters face the infamous Emperor, in 3 Gladiators vs Caesar.

Three mighty gladiators battle it out with one of history’s most significant figures in the coliseum, each bringing their unique skills that can lead to impressive cash prizes.

The Gladiator Feature brings the individual strengths of each combatant into play, activated during every free spin and whenever two free spin symbols are landed during base gameplay. It sees one of three weapons thrown at the reels, with a sword, mace or trident adding wilds to bring an edge to gameplay.

Players rack up the wins via two memorable free spins modes, Challenge and Deathmatch, both offering glory from either safe wins or massive multipliers.

Battle heats up with one of two options offering agency over the coveted bonus. Challenge Free Spins bestow eight standard spins that allow all wins to be secured once the round is over while Deathmatch Free Spins adds real jeopardy and excitement.

This unique option sees players tasked with winning a minimum of x22.5 their stake to keep their accumulated cash amount and if they win, all their wins are multiplied. Before play commences, a choice of x2 multipliers over 7 spins, x3 over 6, or x4 over 5 must be selected. Should Caesar emerge victorious, the player receives a consolation prize of x2 or x10 the stake or 5 Challenge Free Spins.

The release of 3 Gladiators vs Caesar takes advantage of the resurgence in popularity of the theme in current movies and TV, while Yggdrasil’s signature quality in animation and sound design brings the action to life in a thoroughly modern interpretation of the ancient theme.

Tomasz Kowalik, Head of Games Production at Yggdrasil, said: “In 3 Gladiators vs Caesar, we have a game that truly brings the majesty and color of the historical spectacle to the reels with the three individual fighters pitting their arena skills against Caesar himself.

“Action in the base gameplay is matched by the two furious free spins experiences, offering something for both those who are happy to safeguard their wins or those brave enough to pit themselves against the scheming Emperor. It’s a blockbuster game that is worthy of the grandeur of the mighty Roman Empire.”
