Meta Games Universal is an independent company founded by successful developers in the field of regulated casino / VLT gaming machines and the associated servers. We develop games and related systems / tools for the regulated casino and associated markets, both on-line and off-line. The company's Cargo™ game generation system won an innovation award from Casino Journal in 2008. Previously, the founders, Owen Cullum and Tobias Selwood, played key roles in the development of Cyberview Technology’s SBG platform, which was the first downloadable gaming system approved for use in US domestic Class III casinos. (Cyberview was acquired by International Game Technology in 2007).

As of 2018 the company is now producing its own series of international games and looking to carve out its own place in player’s affections. The company produces games in over 20 languages with a focus on both innovation and production quality.
